I agree. I only saw Ultravox live twice in the eighties both times at Hammersmith Odeon. I last witnessed Midge in concert at the Cambridge Corn Exchange in 2019. Are you seeing Ultravox later in the year Yellowstag? That will be some night! 🎈

As a kid growing up in the seventies "Doctor Who" was unmissable. And I just loved the theme music. My favourite version of it is by Orbital and is simply titled "Doctor?" They played it at Glastonbury and the crowd went absolutely bonkers. Thanks for your neverending flow of work Scott, its appreciated 🧡

Glad you enjoyed it! That's a goal of this channel, to unearth hidden gems. I'd never heard of them, either. I still have a bunch of other songs from this series that I have yet to post.

Gary Numan was such a big fan of the "Berlin Blondes" that he let them use his music studio in Shepperton to record their album which was eponymously titled. Its full of brilliant tracks, my favourites being "Romance" and "Zero Song". A wonderful, but sadly here today gone tomorrow band. Thanks Scott 🧡

Scott I have this album and it is truly one of a kind. The Sundays deliver on every level of perfection.
I haven't heard this particular album, I'm going to pick it up and post more tracks from it. I have their first album and final album. Not sure how I missed this one!

My two favourite bands EVER are Duran Duran and TFF. I slightly give DD the edge but TFF will always have this absolute masterpiece.
They're both really good for different reasons.
I recommend Goodbye, another of the good songs of The Sundays and if you want another band in the style of this dream pop genre, Cocteau Twins is called the band, songs like: Bluebeard, Iceblink Luck, Heaven or Las Vegas, Cherry-Coloured Funk, with those songs you are on the safe side, I hope you do the reactions.
